1. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password secure.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person — don't share logins or create accounts to circumvent AI usage limits.
• You must be old enough to use this Service under the laws that apply to you, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. The Service

Smart Study Planner provides tools to organize study material, schedule spaced-repetition reviews, generate AI-assisted notes/worksheets/flashcards, chat with an AI Tutor, and track study progress. Free accounts include a daily allowance of AI-generated content; paid plans (see Section 4) raise or remove that allowance. Core organizational features — subjects, lessons, reviews, routines, calendar, analytics — remain free regardless of plan.

3. AI-generated content

• Notes, worksheets, flashcards, and Tutor replies are generated by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) and may contain mistakes, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• AI output is a study aid, not a substitute for your teacher, textbook, or official curriculum — always verify important facts, especially before an exam.
• You're responsible for how you use generated content, including for graded coursework — check your institution's academic integrity policy on AI-assisted study tools.
• Objective worksheet grading is automatic; subjective (written) answers are graded by AI and may not always match a human grader exactly.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) through Razorpay and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• You can cancel any time from your Subscription page. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period — you keep access until it ends.
• A valid coupon code discounts the price as described at checkout, either for the first payment only or for the life of the subscription, depending on the coupon.
• We don't offer prorated or partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law.
• We may change plan pricing going forward; changes won't retroactively affect a billing period you've already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content you don't have the right to use.
• Attempt to bypass AI usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Use automated tools to scrape or excessively query the Service.
• Submit prompts intended to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content through the AI features.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the lessons, notes, and material you create or upload. By using the Service, you grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending relevant portions to our AI provider when you request AI generation).

7. Service availability

We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI features depend on third-party providers and may occasionally be slow or temporarily unavailable.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content for academic outcomes.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via the Contact page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
